Privacy policy
How we process and protect personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Effective from: 10 October 2026
1. Who processes your data
The controller of personal data on this website is Fargo Security & Crimewatch Europe, s.r.o., Company ID: 19433166, registered office: Holušická 2221/3, 140 00 Praha 4.
Website: fargosecurity.eu. This policy covers visits to the website and communication through the contact form, email or telephone.
2. What data we process and why
Enquiries and communication
We process your first and last name, email, telephone number, message and subsequent correspondence. The form sends your message to our email inbox; the website has no enquiry database. We need the data to reply and, where relevant, prepare a service. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to submit the form. You can also contact us directly by email or telephone. Please do not include sensitive personal data in your message.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps towards a contract at your request; for other enquiries and company contact persons, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in handling communication and business enquiries.
Website operation and security
Hosting and spam protection providers may process your IP address, request time, browser and device information and the security verification result. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form. This information is used to deliver content, detect errors and prevent automated abuse.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website.
Optional map and visitor statistics
Google Maps loads only after you allow it; Google then receives technical connection information and may use its own cookies. We enable Vercel Analytics only after you allow statistics. It measures the page visited, time of visit, referring website, approximate region and device or browser type without analytics cookies. We do not send form contents, visited-page URL query parameters or fragments to analytics. Vercel distinguishes visits using a temporary hash that expires after 24 hours.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent. Rejecting these services does not prevent you from using the website or submitting an enquiry.
3. How long we keep data
We keep enquiries and correspondence for the time needed to answer the enquiry, prepare an offer and conclude the related communication. We then delete them if no further necessary purpose remains.
If correspondence leads to a contract or is necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect a specific legal claim, we retain the relevant documents for the duration of that purpose and applicable statutory or limitation periods. This exception does not automatically apply to every enquiry.
Technical data is retained for the time needed to operate and secure the relevant service. Retention periods for consent choices and browser preferences are described in our cookie policy. The 24-hour period for Vercel Analytics refers to the visitor identifier, not the retention of aggregated statistics.
4. Who receives data
People handling your message and service providers may access the data to the extent necessary for their work:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting, website and contact API operation; Vercel Analytics when you allow statistics.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — Turnstile security verification. It processes technical signals to protect the form and to improve automated abuse detection under its own privacy policy.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) — Google Maps, only when you allow this service. Google also processes the received data under its own privacy policy.
- Google (Gmail SMTP) — sending contact form messages to our email inbox. During delivery it processes message content, contact details and technical data under its own privacy policy.
- Our receiving email inbox provider — delivery and storage of messages submitted through the form or by email. You can obtain details of the specific provider using the controller's contact details below.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Vercel, Cloudflare and Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Such transfers must meet Chapter V GDPR requirements, for example an adequacy decision for recipients covered by it or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Contact the controller for details of recipients and the safeguards used, including how to obtain a copy.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right:
- to access your personal data and receive a copy;
- to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- to erasure or restriction of processing where the relevant conditions are met;
- to object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- to data portability where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract;
- to withdraw consent for optional services at any time in cookie settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
We do not use marketing profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on this website. Security verification may block an automated form submission; you can contact us directly in that case.
